Dr. Boris Pasche is the President and CEO of Karmanos Cancer Institute and the Chair of the Oncology Department at Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Pasche’s career spans over 30 years, during which he has focused his time on gastrointestinal malignancies and hereditary cancer. His research is focused on cancer susceptibility and new therapies. This past year, Dr. Pasche co-invented a medial device that was approved by the FDA to treat heptocellular carcinoma, the most common type of liver cancer.
